February 15th

UPDATE ON CEZAR'S CONDITION:
For the past 2 days, the doctors have been giving Cezar Dolcet and Celecoxib for pain. Except for the nausea and the dizziness, pain control has been very good.

Yesterday, our anesthesiologist decided to adjust his meds so he wouldn't get nauseous or dizzy. Dolcet was discontinued and Pregabalin was added with Celecoxib.

At around 10AM today, he had a sudden onset of severe headache and pain in his right cheek. An hour of this pain (7/10 even after taking Celecoxib and Pregabalin 2 hours prior) and the doctors decided to add Morphine to be taken orally every 4 hours.

He is finally sleeping now and no longer moaning and mumbling because of the pain. Doctors will discharge us as soon as they find the best pain management combo for Cezar. Until then, we'll just have to keep him nourished and well rested.

Please continue to include my husband in your prayers. I can't protect him from this disease and I can't take away his pain even if I wanted to, but I know God can.
